Anonymous asked: I love the awareness you're raising! Keep up the good work and say "hi" to Scout for me. I've been a foster momma to a number of dogs because unfortunately, I can't adopt right now. I fostered a pitbull/lab mix and he was by far the sweetest dog I've ever met. A real lap-lover! I thought you might like to read an article about dog aggression in the telegraph talking about a need to "reevaluate" the "most aggressive breeds." They list the dachshund, jack russel and chihuahua as top aggressors.
Anonymous asked: Gosh, what a great friend! :) I LOVE HIM! What about a calendar with all proceeds to rescue organizations? Professional photographer? All of my dogs are rescues! They are so grateful to be with you! They've seen the dark side and are so amazingly grateful to come into the light! Go, Scout, Go!
Any photographers around?
Anonymous asked: I have just adopted my 2nd dog - small dachshund mix, very similar to the one I already have, also a rescue. I've gone through a lot with the 1st one (many issues, scared of sounds, terrified of other dogs so sometimes "aggressive") & now with the 2nd one. Great most of the times, but at times I despair. It's hard walking them, sometimes they fight & it's scary. I feel horrible today, but yr Tumblr made me remember I'm doing a good thing. You & your dog are amazing. Pit bulls deserve 2nd chances
I can’t begin to fathom the idea that people think I would beat a dog to put a cheeseburger on his head…. That aside I can’t believe how people have twisted my words into thinking that I am ‘making fun of my illegal pitbull’ which is a horrible misinterpretation of how I mentioned I wanted to shed light on the BSL that is currently in effect here in Ontario. The truth is that I have a 9 year old grandfathered pitbull which makes him legal in Ontario despite a pitbull ban that went into effect in 2005. Other misconceptions I want to clear up; I’m not a male, all you Redditors asking for a banana not only was one posted tonight but a bunch was posted last year, and lastly I didn’t send this to any of these websites in the first place - I’ve just been silently doing this for two years and would like to thank anyone who’s watched from the beginning and is now watching how surreal this all is. The last thing i’m looking to do is “exploit” my dear pup, and if anything - tonight I was so deeply touched by a company reaching out to me, and instead of anything selfish, they did a donation in my name to the rescue in which Scout came from - and I can’t thank them enough. If anyone were to profit at all from this, I hope it’s all the rescues out there, whether they have pitbulls or not, who are so under-appreciated and under-funded for all their hard work. Adopting a dog was the most selfless decision of my life in which I could have never predicted just how much it would change my life forever. I’ve been warned of people making money off of this when it could be me, and that’s not my point, obviously that stuff is rad I’m sure, but I’d rather the outcome from all of this be much greater than a dollar in my pocket.
Anonymous asked: What kind of doggie is Scout? He looks part Pit, part angel.
Anonymous asked: Ok, Scout doesn't get to eat the food you put on his head, but do you at least still eat the food?!
Anonymous asked: i know this may seem a little weird but i would like to thank you on behalf of scout for not having him neutered
Anonymous asked: It seems like Scout is getting a burst of overnight fame. What an awesome boy. Did you have to train him to do that or did he just happen to keep still?
It all started with a roll of toilet paper a friend suggested , and he balanced so easily for so long, and it kinda snowballed from there!
Anonymous asked: A cat and he's the boss..
His cat brothers HATE him and pick on him every chance they get!
